Delivery Policy
At Sweet Celebrations, we take great care to ensure your balloon order arrives in perfect condition and ready to make your celebration extra special.
Delivery Areas
We currently offer local delivery throughout Oxfordshire and surrounding areas. Delivery charges and minimum order values are displayed at checkout.
Delivery Dates and Times
- You can select your preferred delivery date when placing your order.
- While we will always do our best to accommodate requested times, we cannot guarantee specific delivery time slots unless agreed in advance.
- During busy periods, deliveries may take place at any time during the selected delivery day.
Collection Orders
Collection is available from our Middleton Cheney location. Collection details and instructions will be provided with your order confirmation.
Please ensure you arrive at your selected collection time, as balloons are prepared specifically for your booking.
Someone to Receive the Order
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that someone is available to accept the delivery. If no one is available, we will attempt to contact you. Additional delivery charges may apply if a second delivery attempt is required.
Product Appearance
As many of our balloon designs are handmade, slight variations in colours, ribbons, accessories or decorative elements may occur. If a significant change is necessary due to stock availability, we will contact you before completing your order.
Returns & Refunds Policy
Personalised and Made-to-Order Items
Most of our balloons are personalised or made to order specifically for your event. Because of this, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds for:
- Personalised balloons.
- Custom-made balloon arrangements.
- Balloon decorations created to your specifications.
- Orders cancelled after production has begun.
Faulty or Damaged Products
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us within 24 hours of collection or delivery.
Please provide:
- Your order number.
- A description of the issue.
- Clear photographs of the product.
We will review the issue and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, repair, or refund.
Balloon Care
Balloons are delicate products and can be affected by weather conditions, temperature changes, sharp objects, rough handling, and transportation after collection or delivery.
We cannot accept responsibility for:
- Damage after the balloons have been collected or successfully delivered.
- Balloons exposed to extreme heat, cold, direct sunlight, or adverse weather conditions.
- Balloons damaged by pets, children, or accidental mishandling.
We recommend following our Balloon Care guidance to maximise float time and appearance.
Order Cancellations
- Orders cancelled with at least 72 hours' notice may be eligible for a refund, less any costs already incurred.
- Orders cancelled within 72 hours of the delivery or collection date may not be refundable, particularly where personalised work or materials have already been prepared.
